Very nice building as well as staff. But you are easily forgotten. I went in September to have labs drawn and to get a health check up. It is April and I have yet to hear from them about my results. This is the second time I've been forgotten. There will not be a third.

Haven't been long ago moved here from out of town, only internal medicine doctor I could find with a appt was another physician. I called today to ask if Dr Velie was accepting new patients ans they said they her NP was , but they wouldn't allow me (a insured soon to be patient) to make an appt bc Dr. Velie and the physician who I previously saw ( although there are in two different office and practices are not associated) rotate call , so therefore I can't become a new pt bc thats some rule Dr Velie has according to her front desk worker. Is that even legal ? I pay for insurance and there are only a selected few internal medicine doctors who are in network. Which she is in network ,But yet they refuse to see me ..but say they are accepting new patients . Also asked to speak to the office manager but was transfered and explain myself to three didn't people, and still never spoke to the office manager.
The office is very beautiful and Dr. Velie is super sweet. However, I do not recommend this office. My experience started off great, but my past few visits have been entirely too brief. I think they try to see too many patients at a time, because Dr. Velie always seems like she's in a rush and doesn't really have the time to spend with each patient. At first I thought maybe I'm just catching her on off days, but I have spoken to a few other people who are also patients of hers, and they have the same compaint. I am finding another doctor.
